Omar Mismar is a Lebanese artist and a fellow in the 2016-17 Whitney ISP. Join us for a festive evening with refreshments, good company, and an exploration of Omar’s work, starting with early works that trace the artist’s negotiation of sexual boundaries, to more recent investigations of the aesthetics of violence and the boundaries that define us as allies, enemies, or the other.
