BOTANICAL – Open Call

Local Project is now accepting submissions for BOTANICAL, a group exhibition that will look for the deepest, most mystical, greenest works of art.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: October 11 5pm
Notification: October 12-13
OPENING : October 196-9pm
The show runs until Nov 11, 2017
Installation, Interactive, Video, Photography, Painting, Technology, and Mixed Media are welcome.
The curatorial objective will be to find the nature in every work, either by color, in a landscape or an installation, BOTANICAL aims to be an escape to the everyday rush of the city and let the viewer immerse onto a pure, mystical, and green experience.

Guidelines:
Artwork must be original and come from you – the artist. (no digital reproductions).
There is no entry fee to submit your work but accepted artists pay a hanging fee of $30, by cash, check or Venmo.
Hanging fees go directly toward the expenses of the exhibition and the reception.
Work must be ready to hang ie; frames or wired, no clips or pins -Size Limit to 20” x 24” and prices between $100-$500. ( we hold the right to make exceptions )
Please SUBMIT up to 2 images of the works you like to show (2 of the same work or 2 different works), include title, year, dimension, material, and price along with submissions and embed title in jpeg to opencall@localproject.org including BOTANICAL in the subject.
Jpegs must not exceed 2mb.

Local Project takes a 30% fee if your work is sold. Sales will be finalized at the end of each exhibition.
This exhibition will be Juried by LP guest curator Joaquin Goldstein, founder of Terror Gallery in Lima, Peru.
Once notified, you will be guided to drop off dates, payment must be done at drop off.

Artists are responsible for the drop-off and pick-up of any and all artwork. Any artwork left without notice for more than a week after the end of the show at LP, Local Project will not be held responsible.

Gallery holds art insurance while on exhibition.
