a Festival of live music, readings, performances, Vj´s, fanzines and artist books.
eL Paper Magazine and Music Under the 7 are joining forces to produce a CD & limited edition Vinyl of music and poetry with a handful of emergent writers, poets, playwrights, actors and musicians. We are recording live during a two day festival on Friday, April 18th and Saturday, 19th. Several guest artists are coming to Crossroads from Guatemala and Berlin. This event is FREE!
We are inviting the audience become immersed into an intimate creative experience where they can read, look, touch, listen and interact in different ways with all the mediums presented; The written word, fanzines, and artist books.
Special Book Exhibition: From April 18-26th an artist book exhibition will be showing at Local Project with pieces from: Milena Berlin (Germany), Print About Me (Italy), Limit (Mexico), Ediciones Bizarras (Guatemala), Ratalia Espigadora (Barcelona-Chile), Chisato Tamabayashi (London-Japan), Les Editions Horror Vacui (Paris), eL Paper Magazine (NewYork-Santiago-Caracas) and Yarisa Colón (New York-Puerto Rico).
The exhibition will be open from April 18th to 26th. In addition we will be offering Bookbinding Workshops:

Handmade books, workshop by Simon Pedroza from Ediciones Bizarras, Guatemala.
Simon is a very experienced in bookbinding and makes amazing books!
