Please join us for a visual conversation on November 7th, 2013 at 7 pm.
What has art got to do with immigration? Is it possible to visualize NYC without people and cultures from all over the world? Can we all get along or are we living in a “nation of strangers”? Here at Local Project, we want to know what you think!
If you like, please bring an image to share that is related to the topic of immigration. The discussion will be facilitated by Sara Guerrero-Rippberger, activist and doctoral candidate in art theory at Chelsea College of Art & Design, London. This event is free and sponsored by New York Council for the Humanities, as part of a series on community conversations.
