IN MY BOROUGH
Collaborative, site-specific installations created by artists living in NYC
In My Borough, features eight site-specific installations by artists living in NYC. The project was conceived with the NYC community in mind with the goal of creating site-specific public installations in the unique setting presented by the vitrines at the Falchi Building.
From April 17 through June 17th the installations will evolve and change, through collaborative artistic efforts, as they coexist in a 10×4 glass vitrine. In addition, the vitrine installations will incorporate performances, working hours, talks, walks, and inviting the public from all 5 boroughs to participate, add, observe, criticize, document, and interact.
