Artist Christian Patterson will give a talk and slideshow about Gong Co., his photography-based, multidisciplinary book and immersive installation project relating to a Chinese grocery store and unintentional time capsule Patterson discovered in the Mississippi Delta. Snacks and drinks will be served, and Patterson will have signed copies of his previous publications for sale. A portion of Patterson’s work is supported by a Queens Council on the Arts grant.
