OPEN CALL
We are looking for photographic work that represents the most iconic, unforgettable, Time/ Place / Moment captured ever!
This is a free opportunity and is open for all artists working in the photographic medium.
This Exhibition will be curated by Carolina Peñafiel and John Baber and hosted at our Neighborhood hub The Local NY for the months of Sept-Oct 2019.
Guidelines to APPLY
-Artwork must be original and come from you – the artist.
-Analogue and Digital Photography
-Artist must live in NYC or NJ.
-Work must be ready to hang ie; wired u0026amp; framed- no clips or pins –There is no size limit and prices must be bellow $1,000
( we hold the right to make exceptions )
-SUBMIT your ONE – Perfect Image – include title, year, dimension, medium, and price to opencall@localproject.org including The Perfect Image in the subject.
-Jpeg must not exceed 2mb. Do not send links to look at work. Do not send more that ONE image.
– Local Project takes a 30% fee if your work is sold. Sales will be finalized at the end of exhibition.
Please know this exhibition will not have insurance.
Deadline to submit is midnight, August 31.
Only selected artists will receive a confirmation email by Tues Sept 3 with drop off dates.
Opening reception at The Local NY Friday September 13th 6-9pm.
