Opening at Local Project Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 1pm
We proudly present Dancing Weavings at Local Project, an Interactive installation by Queens artist Nancy Rakoczy. Dancing Weavings cuts and weaves discarded plastic bags and transforms them into flowers, birds, insects, or some urban shapes that suggests the environmental conflicts in our city. Come and march with the plastic flowers and insects on Saturday October 2nd at 1pm in support of the new bill that expands plastics recycling.
Exhibition goes through October 16th.
Gallery opens every Saturday and Sunday from 1-6pm
