The Public Mural Hall Welcomes the work of L.J. Ruell, local artist from Queens.
Come by this Sunday to meet artist and have a toast with us in front of his mural. Opening reception Sunday October 5th 2pm
“I propose a large landscape scene made up of several pairs (they are always in pairs!) of these characters picking detritus and scraps from the ruined landscape. Obviously a loosely defined post apocalyptic setting. I’m not sure how large the mural area is but I would fill it with these characters in the landscape. It would be simple line art against the white wall background with small bits of color in the characters outfits.”
